The property charged me a $50.00 deposit when I got there and at no time was I told this. you called and was told that ai could pay cash at the property. when I go there they would not take cash and said that bookings would pull it from the card I used to reserve the room ending in 1997. I checked and it had not come out. I checked my other booking for August and I got a notification from my bank that I am using for that trip, that Bookings was trying to pull the payment from the account I am using in August for this one today. Can someone please pull from the account that I confirmed with for today. it caused a negative balance in my other account. thank you

We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Ottawa in 2019 and the breakfast we enjoyed in Harrisonburg was much better! Scott, the waiter, was so friendly and polite. The bed was extremely comfy and it was so useful to have a small night-light in the bathroom. It was good to have proper coat hangers instead of those horrid ones that are fixed to the rail and the chair beside one bed was extremely comfy. The hotel lift was very quick and efficient - in contrast to other hotels where we've stayed. The hotel grounds were smart and everything felt very new and clean.

Great size room for my family of 4. Very nice roomy bathroom. Everything was clean. My only problem was not enough towels for all 4 of us to have one of our own, but luckily I bought some from home due to the indoor pool, which we never used, so all worked out. Great location, plenty of stores, and food right outside the hotel. All around Happy with our stay!

The customer service was great. At check in our room had already been assigned and the keys were ready to go. The facility was very clean. It was quiet. The rooms were nice and equipped with coffee machines. The breakfast had a nice variety, including eggs and sausage, and well stocked. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast Included hot meals, not just a continental breakfast. Great selection for traveling with children. We had the entire pool room to ourselves. It was clean and very comfortable. I don't imagine having to come near this area again, but if I do I would absolutely stay here again.
